Tice BCG

TICE BCG is a live, attenuated strain of Mycobacterium bovis. When introduced into the bladder (intravesically), it acts as a local immunotherapy by stimulating an immune response that targets and destroys cancer cells in the bladder lining.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard adult dose is one reconstituted vial (approx. 50 mg) instilled intravesically once a week for 6 weeks (induction phase), followed by maintenance therapy as determined by an oncologist. Not for intravenous, subcutaneous, or intramuscular administration.

Used for the intravesical treatment and prophylaxis of clinically superficial urinary bladder cancer, specifically carcinoma in situ (CIS) and primary or recurrent stage Ta or T1 papillary tumors.
