Pharmorubicin

Pharmorubicin is an anthracycline cytotoxic antibiotic chemotherapy drug. It works by binding to DNA, inhibiting nucleic acid synthesis, and triggering apoptosis in cancer cells.

Dosage by Body Weight

Administered exclusively via intravenous infusion or intravesical instillation by trained oncology professionals. Standard adult doses range from 60 to 120 mg/m² of body surface area (BSA) every 3 to 4 weeks. Pediatric dosing is not standardized by weight brackets and requires strict specialist calculation based on BSA or weight-based oncology protocols.
