A calcineurin inhibitor. It is more potent than cyclosporine. Requires frequent blood level monitoring (Trough levels) to prevent toxicity.

Dosage by Body Weight

Pediatric dose: 0.1 mg/kg to 0.15 mg/kg per dose, twice daily. Target levels vary by transplant type.
