T Bact Ointment
T Bact Ointment is a topical antibacterial medication containing Mupirocin. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through reversible and specific binding to bacterial isoleucyl transfer-RNA synthetase. It is highly active against Gram-positive bacteria, particularly Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant strains / MRSA) and Streptococcus pyogenes. Because of its unique mechanism of action, it demonstrates no cross-resistance with other clinically available antibiotics.
