Pirocin Ointment

Pirocin Ointment is a topical antibacterial formulation containing Mupirocin 2% w/w. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, specifically targeting susceptible Gram-positive pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times daily for up to 10 days, or as directed by a healthcare provider. The area may be covered with a sterile dressing if needed.
