Storvas
Storvas contains Atorvastatin, a lipid-lowering medication belonging to the statin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor) class. It works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.
Dosage by Body Weight
Standard adult starting dose is usually 10 mg or 20 mg once daily, taken with or without food. The dosage may be adjusted by a physician based on cholesterol levels, up to a maximum of 80 mg once daily. It should be taken at the same time each day along with a low-fat diet.
