Lipvas
Lipvas contains Atorvastatin, which belongs to a group of medicines known as statins (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors). It works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.
Dosage by Body Weight
Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. The usual starting dose for adults is 10 mg to 20 mg once daily, which may be adjusted up to a maximum of 80 mg once daily. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
