Rolaids

Rolaids is an over-the-counter antacid containing calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide. It works by neutralizing excess stomach acid to provide rapid, temporary relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, and sour stomach.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults and children 12 years of age and older: Chew 2 to 4 tablets as symptoms occur, or as directed by a doctor. Do not take more than the maximum daily limit specified on the packaging (typically 7 to 10 tablets depending on strength) in a 24-hour period, or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks. For children under 12 years, consult a physician.
