Ricovir

Ricovir contains Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI). It is used to manage HIV-1 and chronic Hepatitis B infections by interfering with the viral enzymes needed for replication, thereby reducing the viral load in the body.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard dose for adults and pediatric patients weighing 35 kg or more is 300 mg taken orally once daily, with or without food. For patients with renal impairment, dosage intervals must be adjusted under strict medical supervision.
