Reese's Pinworm Medicine

Reese's Pinworm Medicine contains pyrantel pamoate, an anthelmintic agent used to treat pinworm infections. It paralyzes the nervous system of the pinworms, allowing them to be passed out of the body naturally in the stool.

Dosage by Body Weight

Take as a single oral dose, with or without food, based on body weight. Standard dosing is 11 mg of pyrantel base per kg (5 mg per lb), up to a maximum of 1,000 mg (1 g). Shake oral suspension well before use. A second dose may be recommended in 2 weeks if reinfection occurs.
