ClearLax

ClearLax (Polyethylene Glycol 3350) is an osmotic laxative used to treat occasional constipation. It works by causing water to be retained with the stool, which increases the number of bowel movements and softens the stool so it is easier to pass.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults and children 17 years of age and older: Dissolve one packet or 17 grams (about 1 tablespoon, filled to the indicated line in the cap) in 4 to 8 ounces of juice, water, soda, coffee, or tea, once daily. Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor. For children 16 years of age or under, consult a pediatrician.
