Paluther

Paluther is an antimalarial formulation containing Artemether, a fast-acting artemisinin derivative. It is highly effective in clearing malaria parasites from the blood, and is commonly used as an intramuscular injection for severe malaria before transitioning to oral therapy.

Dosage by Body Weight

Must be administered under strict medical supervision. Usually given as a deep intramuscular injection. The standard regimen involves a loading dose of 3.2 mg/kg on the first day, followed by a maintenance dose of 1.6 mg/kg daily for 4 subsequent days.
