Oxtellar XR

Oxtellar XR is an extended-release formulation of oxcarbazepine, an antiseizure (anticonvulsant) medication. It is designed for once-daily dosing to help control and prevent partial-onset seizures by stabilizing hyperexcited nerve membranes in the brain.

Dosage by Body Weight

Must be taken once daily on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Tablets must be swallowed whole and should not be crushed, chewed, or divided. Dosage should be titrated weekly based on clinical response and tolerability.
