Milixim

Milixim is an oral third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, thereby killing the bacteria and stopping the infection from spreading.

Dosage by Body Weight

The recommended pediatric dosage of Cefixime is 8 mg/kg/day, usually administered as 4 mg/kg every 12 hours. Dosage should be adjusted based on body weight and severity of infection as prescribed by a physician.
