Monocef

Monocef is a brand name for Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell wall synthesis, which prevents bacteria from growing and eventually kills them. It is highly effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is commonly administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
