Mefenamic Acid

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. It is frequently used for high-grade fevers in some regions.

Dosage by Body Weight

Pediatric dose: 6.25 mg/kg per dose, three times daily. Not recommended for children under 6 months. Do not use for more than 7 days.
