Mebez
Mebez contains Mebendazole, a broad-spectrum anthelmintic agent. It works by selectively and irreversibly blocking the uptake of glucose and other nutrients in susceptible adult worms, leading to their depletion of endogenous glycogen and eventual death.
Dosage by Body Weight
The standard dose for pinworms is a single 100 mg dose (tablet or suspension) for adults and children over 2 years of age, repeated in 2 weeks to prevent reinfection. For roundworms, whipworms, and hookworms, the standard dose is 100 mg twice daily for 3 consecutive days.
