Levetiracetam (Injection)

The injectable form of the common anti-seizure medication. It is increasingly used in emergency rooms because it has fewer cardiac side effects than phenytoin.

Dosage by Body Weight

Loading dose for seizures: 20 mg/kg to 60 mg/kg IV. Administer over 15 minutes.
