Larpose

Larpose is a prescription medication containing Lorazepam, which belongs to the benzodiazepine class of drugs. It acts on the brain and central nervous system to produce a calming effect by enhancing the effects of GABA, a natural inhibitory neurotransmitter. Due to its potential for habit-forming, tolerance, and dependence, it is strictly classified as a controlled/scheduled substance and is intended for short-term use.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be individualized according to the patient's age, medical condition, and clinical response. For general anxiety, the typical adult dosage is 1 mg to 4 mg daily in divided doses. For insomnia, 1 mg to 2 mg is administered at bedtime. Do not exceed the prescribed duration (usually limited to 2-4 weeks).
