Ivercid

Ivercid contains Ivermectin, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent. It works by binding selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, leading to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions. This results in hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cell, leading to paralysis and death of the parasite.
