Ghepard
Ghepard is a brand of Ketorolac Tromethamine, a highly potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is primarily used for the short-term management of moderately severe acute pain, typically post-operative pain, and should not be used for more than 5 days due to risks of gastrointestinal and renal side effects.
Dosage by Body Weight
For adults, the typical oral dose is 10 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, with a maximum daily dose of 40 mg. Oral treatment should only be used as continuation therapy after initial IV/IM administration, and total duration should not exceed 5 days. Dose reduction is required for patients over 65 years of age or weighing less than 50 kg.
