Fusiderm

Fusiderm is a topical antibiotic containing Fusidic Acid. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which prevents bacterial growth and replication. It is highly effective against Staphylococcus aureus, including penicillinase-producing strains, and is commonly used for localized superficial skin infections.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily, generally for a period of 7 to 14 days. If the treated area is covered with a sterile dressing, less frequent application (1 to 2 times daily) may be sufficient.
