Fucithalmic

Fucithalmic is a viscous eye drop preparation containing the antibiotic fusidic acid. It is designed to liquefy upon contact with tears, allowing it to remain in the eye for an extended period and reducing the frequency of application needed compared to traditional eye drops.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard dosage for adults and children is one drop instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) twice daily (morning and evening). Treatment should be continued for at least 48 hours after the eye returns to normal.
