Works by reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain that causes temporary loss of consciousness (absence seizures).

Dosage by Body Weight

Initial dose for 3-6 years: 15 mg/kg/day. For >6 years: 250 mg twice daily. Titrate slowly.
