Elimite

Elimite (permethrin 5%) is a topical scabicidal agent. It is used to treat infestations of scabies (tiny mites that infest and irritate the skin).

Dosage by Body Weight

Thoroughly massage the cream into the skin from the head to the soles of the feet. For infants and elderly patients, also apply to the scalp, hairline, neck, temple, and forehead. Leave on the skin for 8 to 14 hours, then wash off thoroughly. Usually, a single application is sufficient to clear the infestation.
