Ditropan XL

Ditropan XL is an anticholinergic and antispasmodic medication that works by relaxing the detrusor muscle of the bladder, helping to reduce sudden bladder contractions and the frequent, urgent need to urinate.

Dosage by Body Weight

Take once daily with or without food at the same time each day. Tablets must be swallowed whole with liquids and must not be chewed, divided, or crushed. Adult dosage typically starts at 5 mg or 10 mg daily, adjusted up to a maximum of 30 mg daily. Pediatric dosage (6 years and older) starts at 5 mg daily, adjusted up to a maximum of 20 mg daily.
