Crystapen V

Crystapen V contains phenoxymethylpenicillin, an orally active penicillin antibiotic. It exerts a bactericidal action against penicillin-sensitive micro-organisms during the stage of active multiplication by inhibiting the biosynthesis of cell wall mucopeptides.

Dosage by Body Weight

Crystapen V should ideally be taken on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before food or 2 hours after food, with a glass of water. Complete the entire prescribed course of treatment even if symptoms disappear early.
