Crotan

Crotan is a topical scabicidal and antipruritic medication containing 10% crotamiton. It is primarily prescribed to treat scabies infestations and to soothe severe itching from various skin conditions.

Dosage by Body Weight

For scabies: Apply thoroughly to the entire body from the chin down, paying special attention to folds and creases. Apply a second dose after 24 hours. Wash off 48 hours after the second application. For pruritus: Massage gently into affected areas until completely absorbed, repeat as needed (usually 2-3 times daily).
