Conzip
Conzip is an extended-release formulation of tramadol hydrochloride, which is a centrally acting opioid analgesic. It is used to manage moderate to moderately severe chronic pain when alternative, non-opioid treatments are inadequate and daily, around-the-clock, long-term treatment is required.
Dosage by Body Weight
For adults, the typical starting dose is 100 mg orally once daily, which may be titrated individually by 100 mg increments every 2 to 3 days to a maximum of 300 mg once daily. Capsules must be swallowed whole and should not be crushed, chewed, split, or dissolved. Conzip is contraindicated and not recommended for use in pediatric patients.
