Coal Tar Shampoo

Coal tar is a keratoplastic agent that works by causing the skin to shed dead cells from its top layer and slowing down the growth of skin cells. This reduces scaling, dryness, and itching associated with scalp conditions.

Dosage by Body Weight

Wet hair and scalp thoroughly. Apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to produce a rich lather, massage into the scalp, and leave on for several minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Usually used 1 to 2 times weekly, or as directed by a physician.
