Carvil

Carvil contains Carvedilol, which is a dual-action cardiovascular agent. It acts as both a non-selective beta-blocker and an alpha-1 blocker. This dual action helps to relax and dilate blood vessels, reduce vascular resistance, and slow the heart rate, allowing the heart to pump blood more efficiently and lowering overall blood pressure.

Dosage by Body Weight

Carvil must be taken exactly as prescribed by a doctor. It is typically taken once or twice daily, and should always be taken with food to slow down the absorption rate and minimize the risk of orthostatic hypotension (dizziness when standing up). Dosage is highly individualized and must be adjusted slowly under medical supervision. Do not discontinue this medication abruptly.
