Bynfezia Pen

Bynfezia Pen is a somatostatin analog containing octreotide acetate. It mimics the actions of natural somatostatin to inhibit the secretion of various hormones, including growth hormone, insulin, glucagon, and gastrointestinal peptides. It is designed as a multi-dose prefilled pen for subcutaneous self-administration.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage is highly individualized and titrated based on clinical response, tolerability, and hormone levels. The typical starting dose for acromegaly is 50 mcg injected subcutaneously three times daily. For carcinoid tumors, the typical starting dose is 100 mcg to 600 mcg daily in 2 to 4 divided doses.
