A highly cardioselective beta-1 blocker. It reduces heart rate and blood pressure with less effect on the lungs than propranolol.
Dosage by Body Weight
Pediatric use is usually 0.1 mg/kg to 0.2 mg/kg once daily. Specialist cardiac use only.
