Betoptic

Betoptic is a cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor inhibitor in ophthalmic solution or suspension form. It is used to lower internal pressure in the eyes of people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. By reducing the production of fluid within the eye, it helps prevent damage to the optic nerve and subsequent vision loss.

Dosage by Body Weight

The usual recommended dose is one to two drops of Betoptic in the affected eye(s) twice daily. For Betoptic S (suspension), shake well before using. Press the inner corner of the eye for 1-2 minutes after instillation to reduce systemic absorption.
