Anucort-HC

Anucort-HC is a prescription rectal suppository containing hydrocortisone acetate, a corticosteroid. It is designed to reduce rectal swelling, itching, and inflammation associated with hemorrhoids, proctitis, and other localized rectal conditions.

Dosage by Body Weight

For rectal administration. The typical adult dose is 1 suppository rectally twice daily (morning and evening) or three times daily depending on severity. Do not use for longer than prescribed. Wash hands before and after use. Not recommended for pediatric patients without direct medical supervision.
