Hydrocortisone Acetate

Hydrocortisone Acetate is a low-potency topical and rectal corticosteroid. It works by suppressing cellular and humoral immune responses and reducing inflammatory mediator release, thereby alleviating localized swelling, itching, and pain.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply a thin film to the affected skin area 2 to 4 times daily, or insert 1 rectal suppository 1 to 2 times daily, as directed by a healthcare provider. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days unless instructed by a physician.
