Mitoxantrone

Mitoxantrone is an antineoplastic agent belonging to the anthracenedione class. It acts as a DNA intercalating agent and a topoisomerase II inhibitor, disrupting DNA synthesis and repair. It is also used as an immunomodulator in treating severe active forms of multiple sclerosis.

Dosage by Body Weight

Strictly administered intravenously by a qualified healthcare professional. Dosage is calculated based on Body Surface Area (BSA, mg/m2) rather than body weight alone, depending on the specific condition being treated (MS, leukemia, or prostate cancer).
