Zithromax

Zithromax is an azalid, a subclass of macrolide antibiotics. It prevents bacteria from growing by interfering with their protein synthesis. It is highly effective for respiratory, skin, and urogenital infections.

Dosage by Body Weight

Can be taken with or without food, but food may decrease gastrointestinal side effects. Oral suspension must be shaken thoroughly before measuring. Complete the entire course of therapy as prescribed.
