Zentel

Zentel is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic (anti-worm) medication containing Albendazole. It works by interfering with the cells in the worm's gut, preventing them from absorbing glucose, which leads to energy depletion and death of the parasite.

Dosage by Body Weight

Standard adult dose for most intestinal worm infections is a single 400 mg dose. Pediatric dosing is often age-dependent (200 mg for children 1-2 years; 400 mg for children over 2 years). Take with food (especially fat-rich meals for systemic infections) to increase absorption.
