A synthetic version of the antidiuretic hormone. In shock, it acts as a potent vasoconstrictor to raise blood pressure.

Dosage by Body Weight

Shock dose: 0.0003 to 0.002 units/kg/min continuous infusion. DI dose: 0.5 to 2.5 units 3-4 times daily IM/Subcut.
