Topirol

Topirol contains Topiramate, an anticonvulsant medication. It is prescribed to treat certain types of seizures (partial onset, primary generalized tonic-clonic, and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome) and to prevent migraine attacks in adults and adolescents. It works by reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be highly individualized and titrated slowly. Typically started at a low dose (e.g., 25 mg daily) and increased weekly under medical supervision to minimize side effects. Do not stop taking Topirol suddenly, as it may cause increased seizure frequency.
