Tinzaparin

Tinzaparin is a low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) with anticoagulant properties. It works by enhancing the inhibition of activated factor X (Factor Xa) by antithrombin III, thereby preventing thrombin formation and blood clot propagation.

Dosage by Body Weight

Administered subcutaneously. The standard therapeutic dosage for acute DVT/PE is 175 anti-Xa IU per kg of body weight once daily. Dosage must be adjusted based on actual body weight and renal function. Do not administer intramuscularly.
