Taztia XT

Taztia XT is an extended-release formulation of diltiazem hydrochloride, which is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles of your heart and blood vessels, lowering blood pressure, and reducing the workload on the heart to prevent chest pain.

Dosage by Body Weight

Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush, chew, or open the extended-release capsule. Usually taken once daily, often in the morning, with or without food. Dosage must be individualized, starting typically at 120 mg to 240 mg once daily, and adjusted up to 480 mg daily if needed under medical supervision.
