Sumaxin

Sumaxin is a prescription topical combination medication containing sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur. Sodium sulfacetamide is an antibacterial agent that fights bacteria on the skin, while sulfur helps to dry and shed the outermost layer of skin, reducing oiliness and clearing acne lesions, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply to affected areas of the skin 1 to 3 times daily as directed by a healthcare provider. For the topical wash, wet the skin, apply the medicine, work into a lather, massage gently for 10-20 seconds, and rinse thoroughly.
