Seretide

Seretide is a combination preventer inhaler containing two active ingredients: salmeterol (a long-acting beta-2 agonist bronchodilator) and fluticasone propionate (a corticosteroid). Salmeterol helps to keep the airways open, while fluticasone reduces inflammation, swelling, and irritation in the lungs. It is used for regular, daily maintenance therapy and is not intended to relieve sudden, acute asthma attacks.

Dosage by Body Weight

Inhale the prescribed dose regularly, typically twice daily (morning and evening), even when free of symptoms. Always rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out after each use to reduce the risk of oral thrush and hoarseness. Do not stop using this medicine abruptly without consulting your doctor. Keep a separate fast-acting rescue inhaler (like Salbutamol) with you at all times for sudden breathing difficulties.
