Scabigard

Scabigard is a topical anti-parasitic medication containing Permethrin. It is used to treat scabies, an itchy skin condition caused by microscopic mites. Permethrin works by disrupting the nerve cell membranes of the parasites, resulting in muscle paralysis and death of the mites and their eggs.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply the medication thoroughly from the neck down to the soles of the feet. Leave the cream or lotion on the skin for 8 to 14 hours, then wash off completely by showering or bathing. Usually, a single application is sufficient.
