Salbutamol

Salbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and increasing air flow to the lungs.

Dosage by Body Weight

For acute asthma in children, WHO guidelines focus on inhaled therapy. Oral syrup is generally less preferred due to side effects like tremors. Dosing below is for oral liquid reference where still used.
