Prudoxin
Prudoxin is a topical cream containing 5% doxepin hydrochloride. It is a tricyclic antidepressant that, when applied topically, acts as a potent antihistamine (blocking both H1 and H2 receptors) to relieve severe itching associated with certain skin conditions like eczema.
Dosage by Body Weight
Apply a thin film to the affected areas four times daily, with at least a 3- to 4-hour interval between applications. Do not use for more than 8 days.
