Placidox

Placidox contains Diazepam, a benzodiazepine derivative. It works by facilitating the action of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain, which results in sedative, anxiolytic, muscle relaxant, and anticonvulsant effects.

Dosage by Body Weight

The dosage of Placidox must be individualized. For adults, typical oral doses range from 2 mg to 10 mg taken 2 to 4 times daily depending on the severity of the condition. Pediatric dosing is highly restricted and must only be initiated by a specialist.
