Phenicol Syrup

Phenicol Syrup contains Chloramphenicol (as palmitate), a broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Because of potential serious side effects, including bone marrow toxicity and Gray Baby Syndrome, it is reserved for severe infections where safer alternatives are not available.
